Dada Labella's New Single "Hurt Me" Has Potential To Take The Charts By Storm

INDIANAPOLIS, IN, MAY 10, 2021 – Up and coming singer Dada LaBella has recently released her new single, Hurt Me. The number is already making waves for its soulful, solemn and painful depiction of life as such when betrayal happens. This new music of hers is based on some of the personal pains and hurt Dada has faced over the years. Apart from it, Dada also sings about a lot of hurt people around her have gone through that she observed and decided to portray them in her song — to immortalize their pain in a powerful music that touches every soul that listens to it.

A string of broken relationships and abusive exes turned Dada LaBella towards music as a strong passion. Though she has been quite into music for a good few years now, yet the pain that she received from people who took advantage of her good heart was too much to bear. According to Dada, "when people listen to Hurt Me, they will know the space I am coming from". True to her words, music lovers and her fans have been putting forward honest reviews about how Hurt Me impacted them and touched the deep recesses of their very soul where they had kept so many things boxed away.

"Dada LaBella is one of the finest up and coming singers America has seen in a long time. Her music touches hearts like rarely seen or known. When she gives words to the feelings of pain, something about it starts resonating with everyone. P-Lotus pays homage to LL Cool J in new music video "Rapper Mode"

Coming off a 2 ½ year hiatus from rapping, P-Lotus is now back into “Rapper Mode” and he says he is going harder than ever. At the end of 2020, P-Lotus started hinting his fans about new music coming from him. This built up much suspense and anticipation for his official 4 song EP that released on February 26th, 2021, titled “Rapper Mode”. P-Lotus describes the EP as the appetizer before the main course. The main course would be his 5th studio album titled “Still Married to The Music 3” set to be released late Spring 2021.

Rapper Mode is the “appetizer” EP, that he put together with the intention of paying homage to one of the G.O.A.T.S in the rap industry, LL Cool J. This project is much, much broader than current rap music as it takes it back to the roots of the rap culture, which stem from the 80’s era of Hip Hop. LL Cool J is therefore considered to be a perfect embodiment of this culture as his aura is still relevant today and is thus considered as the backbone of this popular culture. The hugely anticipated, “main course” album is slated for release late in the spring of 2021. Play, Download and stream this harder than ever, rap-oriented banger EP!

P-Lotus went from being in business mode to “Rapper Mode”

P-Lotus has released a studio album every three years since 2009. This is an impressive feat considering the fact that P-Lotus has always played many different roles in the entertainment industry besides rapper. This rap music entrepreneur is founder and president of Phenomenal Entertainment, a Fort Wayne, IN based entertainment company that provides marketing, production and publishing services, concerts and community events. Although it is a challenge, P-lotus has always been able to balance the pursuit of his dreams of being a world-renowned rap artist and the day to day responsibilities of running a business. However, it was at the end of 2018 shortly after the release of his 4th studio album “EMOTIONS” when P-Lotus decided to step away from artistry and focus on his business and playing the key role of music manager for close friends and fellow artists such as Nicky Neptune (Indianapolis, IN) and Nephew Slim (Atlanta, GA).

From the end of 2018 to now the beginning of 2021, P-Lotus has not released any music. In the past, you would get mixtapes and feature appearances from P-Lotus in between albums but not this time. This has led many of his music fans to question whether he was done putting out music for good, but no, the music saga of P-Lotus continues. He has reemerged from behind the scenes and has merely reinvented himself as an artist and his approach to marketing himself and his music. P-Lotus is set to release his 5th album “RAPPER MODE”, which would technically be considered an EP (extended play single) because it only has 4 songs. He has already shot two official music videos from the EP, one video is for “Rapper Mode”, the title song and first single of the EP. Another project P-Lotus has set to drop this Spring is “STILL MARRIED TO THE MUSIC 3”, the third and final installment of his Still Married To The Music Mixtape series.

P-Lotus on why he decided to start releasing music again: “I have yet to find a rapper who can do it quite like me. Not even saying I’m the best, it’s just that no one says the things I say the way that I say them. I make music that the world needs to hear. The world still needs my perspective. The world still needs P-Lotus.”

It is true that P-Lotus brings a unique perspective in his music as a young black male in America and he finds simple yet creative ways to communicate complicated ideas. Two of his most popular political statement songs are “I Love My Country” and “Stop Killing Us”, which speak on the realities of racial injustice and promote unity amongst all people regardless of skin color. These types of themes, personal experiences and overall positive vibes will still be found in his music and are what his fans have grown to love and expect from him. P-Lotus hopes that his new music will resonate with this new generation of music listeners because a lot has changed in the two and a half years since his last release. But P-Lotus knows one thing that has not changed, “the people still need inspiration”.
